- Leaving Groups
If you no longer need to be part of a group, whether you’ve finished your work or changed your interests, you can easily leave at any time. This section explains how to exit a group and what happens afterward.
When should you leave a group?
- You have completed your work or discussions in the group.
- The group’s topic is no longer relevant to you.
- You want to reduce your list of joined groups.
- You are a Community Manager and need to step down (special rules apply, see below).
What happens when you leave?
- You will stop receiving updates and notifications (emails or alerts) from the group.
- You will lose access to the group’s discussions, files, and events.
- Your past posts and comments will stay in the group unless you or a manager deletes them.
- You can rejoin public groups or request access again to private groups
Important note for Community Managers
- If you manage the group, you cannot leave without first assigning a new manager or closing the group.
- Contact the Futurium Support Team if you need help with this.
