What happens after an invitation is sent?

Once an invitation has been sent, the invited person receives an invitation email.

To accept or decline the invitation, they need to sign in to Futurium using an EU Login account. If they do not already have an EU Login account, they will need to create one before they can access Futurium.

For external users (with a non-EU email domain), instructions for creating an EU Login account are available in the Futurium documentation under “Account Management” > “Creating an account”.

After signing in to Futurium, invited users will see a message across the platform informing them that they have pending group invitations, which they can review in their profile.

Users can review the invitation and decide whether to accept or decline it by accessing their account and opening “My Invitations” tab.

  • If they accept, they become a member of the group immediately. They can then start exploring its available content and begin contributing according to the permissions granted to them and the group’s specific configuration.
  • If they decline, the invitation is refused and they will not be added to the group.
