Knowledge hub

Welcome to the RE-CONNECT Knowledge Hub. Here you can find a variety of resources from our programme partners, including:

  • External resources: This page collates a range of external resources that are available to support countries on GHG emissions estimations and transparent reporting. This page will be continually updated throughout the duration of RECONNECT.

  • Scenarios: IIASA’s Energy, Climate and Environment program (ECE) hosts numerous databases for transition pathways and emissions scenarios on behalf of the scientific community. In RECONNECT, the database infrastructure and related open-source tools for data analysis and visualisation will be applied to support policy-relevant assessment of mitigation options towards a climate-resilient and sustainable society.

  • National Policy Explorer: IIASA’s "National Policy Explorer” is a science dissemination and communication web-based tool building upon established web-based climate services frameworks developed by IIASA, including the IIASA Scenario Explorer Framework, Hotspots Explorer and Climate Solutions Explorer. This tool provides insights into national energy transitions, interactive spatial data visualization, dashboards and data hosting of modelling results. The scenario explorer can be used by national and global teams to store, validate, visualise and compare their scenarios.

  • RE-CONNECT resources: This page collates the resources produced through the RECONNECT project, including bi-monthly newsletters, 4-monthly reports, webinar materials, and any guidance produced through our support activities.
