If national interests coincide with the European interest, then there is hope for a common European AI strategy. Otherwise, we will create a Frankenstein. In order to compete globally, as one of its priorities, Europe needs to come up with a strategy to create critical mass in data, which is where we are lagging behind compared to GAFAM y BAT.
