Description:

Simpl shall allow a Data Consumer to obtain via UI or API the metadata of a previously identified dataset through the search capability.  Simpl shall allow a Data Consumer to request via UI or API to obtain a single file containing the data of a dataset previously identified through the search capability. Simpl provides mechanisms allowing the Data Provider to transfer files of small sizes (few megabytes) up to very large sizes (terabytes). The former can happen synchronously, whereas the latter typically requires asynchronous transfer mechanisms to avoid blocking other interactions during the bulk transfer. Sharing operations allowed should be respectful of the data usage policies and SLA and contractual terms. When a Data Consumer has subscribed to a dataset or data stream. Simpl will share the dataset, or stream the data, as agreed when subscribing.
