Welcome to Simpl!

This forum is dedicated to fostering collaboration and stimulating discussions contributing to create Simpl-Open, the open-source software stack playing a major role in the creation of the Common European Data Spaces.

The forum collects feedback on requirements at three levels, addressing key questions such as the priority assigned to a requirement, agreement on titles and descriptions, identification of potential overlaps, and the valuable input of suggestions for additional requirements.

All contributions will be escalated to relevant parties within the Simpl initiative. The decisions and discussions resulting will be reverted back to the original contributor.

To facilitate this exchange, the platform is managed by dedicated community managers that will analyse and monitor discussions.

The three levels of requirements:

L0 Business Processes - This level, defines the overarching business processes for the system, emphasising the functionalities required for a fully operational system.
L1 High-Level Requirements - This level details the high-level requirements regarding the workflow supporting the business processes. It provides a general overview of the steps involved in business processes. The aim here is to identify what outcomes are necessary, without delving into the specifics of implementation.
L2 Detailed Requirements - At this detailed level, the focus shifts to specifying the exact requirements and configurations that further define the elements of the system that are needed to implement the steps of the associated workflow. This stage is about providing the detailed technical roadmap necessary to realise the objectives set forth in L1.
