The Final Event of the BorderLabs CE project, organised by the Saxon State Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Lead Partner) and the BorderLabs CE project partners, will take place on 10 June 2026 in Brussels. The event will highlight key achievements of the BorderLabs CE project while fostering dialogue on the future of cross-border cooperation in Central Europe. It will bring together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to explore strategic spatial planning, participatory governance, and the removal of legal and administrative barriers. Roundtables will discuss a new spatial vision for Central Europe through strategic cross-border planning, cross-border participatory governance in Central Europe and enhanced integration through the elimination of cross-border legal and administrative obstacles. Through these discussions and the launch of the Charter for a more integrated Central Europe, the event will serve as a platform for advancing collaboration and shaping more cohesive and resilient border regions. The event is organised as a side event of the annual European Corss-Border Platform (ECBP) meeting.
