The closing event of the Cross-Border Data Collection Project, commissioned by DG REGIO and carried out by a consortium led by ÖIR GmbH, in collaboration with Statistics Netherlands, and supported by INSEE and Statistics Denmark, will take place on 10 June 2026 in Brussels.
The event will present the main results of the project, including the developed methodology for cross-border data collection, key findings from the data collection exercise, and reflections on how to move towards sustainable and comparable statistics on cross-border workers across Europe.
The event will bring together representatives from European institutions, national statistical institutes, regional authorities, and other stakeholders working on cross-border issues. It will provide a space to discuss future perspectives, share experiences, and explore how cross-border data can better support policymaking.

The event is organised as a side event of the annual meeting of the European Cross-Border Platform (ECBP).
