The updated EU Industrial Strategy (2021) highlights the need to accelerate the green and digital transitions in the various industrial ecosystems, including the mobility ecosystem. 

The mobility ecosystem comprises the entire value chain of the automotive, waterborne, rail and bike industries. The European Commission launched its Transition Pathway for the EU Mobility Industrial Ecosystem in 2024 to recommend key actions for the ecosystem's twin transition to ensure it can remain both competitive and resilient to crises. 

The second round of pledges is now open to help co-creating the transition pathway, and identify the necessary actions for a digital, green, competitive, and resilient mobility sector. In the first round, the Commission reviewed and published over 80 pledges! 

The call is open to companies operating in the sector or those working closely with the Mobility Transition Pathway's objectives. This might include digitalisation, increasing your environmental sustainability, or upskilling.
