Multidimensional poverty in the EU: Social Situation Monitor Seminar, Brussels, BE

Crowne Plaza Hotel
Ginestestraat 3
1210 Brussels
Belgia

On March 12, the Social Situation Monitor (SSM) team from the Directorate-General of Employment, Social Affair & Inclusion organises a seminar on multidimensional poverty in the EU.

Until recently, most measures of poverty were primarily focused on income. Multidimensional poverty assessments include access to health and education, living standards and other non-income based dimensions of poverty. During the seminar, existing data and indicators are evaluated, and further actions in order to improve measuring multidimensional poverty will be discussed.
