Celebrating Pauline Bellec's Success – a former YSC finalist shining bright

Pauline Bellec, a standout finalist during the Youth Start-up Competition 2023 finale in Bilbao, continues to inspire with her innovative approach to sustainable building solutions. Her cutting-edge prototype, featuring micro-perforated fabric facades filled with loose expanded cork, is tackling energy inefficiency in buildings—a significant step toward greener practices.

Since reaching the finals of the Youth Start-up Competition, Pauline Bellec's company, Coat-ing, has made remarkable strides. On 14 January 2025, the team proudly unveiled their first prototype in Pont-à-Vendin, garnering widespread interest and support. Attendees, including local officials and industry leaders, praised the innovative use of micro-perforated fabric and cork to combat energy inefficiency in buildings.
