Proximus, Belgium’s leading telecom operator, immediately took several initiatives for the people of Ukraine, as from the start of this crisis.

They included: free calls to and from Ukraine, as well as joining the European initiative to reduce roaming tariffs.

Moreover, Proximus took specific actions to support refugees in Belgium:

• Free pre-paid SIM cards distributed, with free mobile data;
• Connectivity to refugee centers;
• Buildings made available for local municipalities to accommodate refugees;
• Free unlimited internet at home for customers accommodating refugees;
• Free Picks TV channels to NGOs for fundraising purposes;
• Days off for employees who volunteered in organisations supporting the Ukrainian cause;
• Charity activities from Proximus colleagues.
