We are pleased to invite you to a stakeholder outreach event titled “TTC achievements in a changing world and the future of EU-U.S. trade and technology cooperation”, which takes place on the sidelines of the 6th EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council ministerial meeting, hosted on 4-5 April 2024 in Leuven, Belgium.  

On April 4, EU and U.S. stakeholders will have the opportunity to join a livestreamed discussion with Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis, and Commissioner Thierry Breton, representing the EU side, and the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken [TBC], U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai, representing the U.S. side.  

The event will be opened by the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hadja Lahbib. 

The one-hour discussion will take in place in the form of a fireside chat and touch upon the importance of transatlantic cooperation, explore the TTC’s accomplishments thus far and explore the road ahead for EU-U.S. trade and tech cooperation
