Macroeconomic modelling workshop

This workshop provides an introduction to macroeconomic models, exploring their fundamentals, mathematical formulations, and objectives, with a focus on their role in mitigation analysis. Speakers showcase examples of macroeconomic models used for climate policy assessment, including the GEM-E3 model. This is in addition to the integration of macroeconomic models with detailed energy scenarios and an examination of the socioeconomic aspects these models capture, along with their scenario quantifications.
