AI HLEG Meeting of 14 February 2019

Dear Francesca, thank you for your question. The AI HLEG has started working on the Policy & Investment Recommendations since the beginning of its mandate and in parallel with the drafting of the AI Ethics Guidelines. A document is being prepared to be presented to the European Commission by the end of May.

As the work on this document is divided in several thematic sub-groups,  the experts responsible for each sub-group have continuously requested input from stakeholders through the European AI Alliance. For more information on these input requests, please refer to the following open discussions:

Dear Tamás, please note that the meeting you refer to was a workshop that among others included some feedback discussion on the AI HLEG deliverables (and therefore open to the members of the AI HLEG reserve list, ad hoc experts and Commission's officials, while the member of the AI Alliance had indeed the possibility to attend online). The current meeting is going to be a closed one, focused on technical aspects and progressing with the work on the Deliverables. We will of course thrive to webstream any eventual workshop organised in the future.

Dear Aleksandra, as explained bellow, this kind of meetings cannot be webstreamed. In any case, we will inform the AI Alliance if another workshop will be organised in the future and of course, we will webstream it on the platform!
