A new framework agreement has been put in effect since the 1st of July 2023. Under the new agreement the time limits spent working from home while still receiving social security from the employer's country across the border have been extended. More specifically from 25% of total working time, the limit has been now raised to 49.99%. The agreement has been signed by 17 member states while any remaining countries can join at will.
