One of the Urban Poverty Partnership's actions revolves around the "Local Pact for the regeneration of urban deprived areas and neighbourhoods". URBACT, a partner in the Partnership, is organising pilot project on this issue, composed of a series of meetings.

This first event, taking place from 5 to 6 July in Paris, will focus on exchanging practices regarding area-based policies fighting urban deprivation. The relevant policies operational in France, Belgium, Germany, England, Spain, and Poland will be discussed and evaluated.
