Welcome tourism practitioners, stakeholders, planners and other interested parties!

Thank you for joining the "sustainable EU tourism destinations community"! This group is part of the EISMEA and DG GROW project “Unbalanced tourism growth at destination level – root causes, impacts, existing solutions and good practices". We posted an overview of the project context and aims in the "about" section of this platform.

In short, our overarching aims for this platform are:

• sustaining the dialogue between tourism stakeholders (such as destinations, industry and residence groups and representatives, environmental groups, governance bodies etc.) kick-started as part of the overtourism workshop series
• providing a place for tourism stakeholders to network and exchange on experiences, good practices, impacts of overtourism and unsustainable tourism

Feel free to open discussions and share your content (e.g. reports, factsheets etc.) and experiences!
