In this video, we introduce you to Dr. Xavier Conill, General Manager of the Cerdagne Hospital.

The hospital is the first cross-border hospital in Europe, established on the 19th September 2014. It aims to provide medical care to the inhabitants of the Cerdagne valley, on both sides of the Franco-Spanish border. 

Discussing the influence the hospital has had on the region, Dr. Conill discussed how it has improved access to healthcare. He also highlighted the challenge of being a bi-national hospital and the everyday changes that it necessitates.
