In the past few years pandemic, war, climate change and other relevant topics made clear that disinformation knows no borders. Therefore, the possibility for fact-checking organizations across the Globe to share knowledge and act together in countering disinformation is of paramount importance. The European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) surveyed four fact-checking networks in Africa, the Middle East and South America about challenges and opportunities for high-level cooperation and summarized the results in an analysis published in April .
