ApplyAI workshop: Identifying public administrations’ needs for AI adoption, on December 11th
The Public Sector Tech Watch invites you to join our workshop “ApplyAI: Identifying public administrations’ needs for AI adoption” held online on 11 December from 10.30 to 12.30 (CET).
The European Commission has recently published the ApplyAI Strategy, which includes a dedicated chapter for promoting AI adoption in the public sector. We are now moving towards preparing its implementation- and this is where your contribution is essential.
We invite public administrations and public-sector professionals to join an interactive workshop to share their experiences, needs, and challenges in adopting Artificial Intelligence. Your insights will directly inform the next steps of the ApplyAI Strategy and guide the development of an AI Toolbox to support public administrations across Europe.
The workshop will also feature insights from:
- Prateek Sibal (Programme Specialist at Digital Policies and Digital Transformation at UNESCO, new UNESCO x Saïd Business School, University of Oxford course: AI and digital transformation in government).
- Diletta Huyskes (Postdoctoral Researcher in technology ethics and social impact; Co-founder and co-CEO of Immanence)
- Enrico Ferraris (Head of Product Privacy and Ethics at PagoPA, Italian digital public infrastructures)
During the workshop, we will present the public-sector chapter of the ApplyAI Strategy and, together with guest speakers discuss what trustworthy and effective AI adoption means in practice, recognising the public sector’s unique responsibilities and requirements.
💡 Your voice matters. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to Europe’s public-sector AI future and connect with the Interoperable Europe Community!
