Dear colleagues, I would like to share with you a recent report that I have contributed to, by Oxford Insights. It is a research report on how to implement AI for tackling corruption within public procurement processes. As more governments digitise their operations, there is an increased opportunity to develop practical anti-corruption tools based on big data, open data and artificial intelligence. Here, we consider the viability of such tools, in the hope that their implementation would eventually lead to fewer public funds lost to the private accounts of corrupt officials and politicians.

Very interesting, Walter,

Check this interesting application of facial recognition from China:

Facial and voice recognition of officials making public announcements of contract awards may be an effective method to spot potential corruption and all too easy.

Cheers

Jesus
