Resilient Borders, BordeRisks Project - Raise Awareness Campaign in Ardas Festival in Orestiada

The Raise Awareness took place in Ardas Festival, in Orestiada, 27 of July 2025. During the Festival, α kiosk was provided to the Municipality of Orestiada so that it could place informational brochures, which were distributed to the public, and offer them information. The briefing initially focused on the activities of the BordeRisks project as an introduction, while residents and visitors were then informed about the challenges faced by the Municipality of Orestiada in relation to forest fires and cross-border forest fires. They were also informed about ways in which the community itself can actively contribute to firefighting and prevention, as well as what they can do if a fire is detected.
