On behalf of the European Commission, a consortium led by ÖIR GmbH and involving Hétfa Research Institute, Nordregio and AEBR is currently implementing a project on cross-border regional labour market analysis and daily cross-border labour commuting. The aim of the project is to formulate future guidelines for cross-border labour market analysis and data collection based on the current experiences and to support policy making, thereby strengthening integration and territorial cohesion in cross-border regions.
The in-depth knowledge and experiences of the Border Focal Point community are a crucial source of information in this regard. We kindly invite you to share your valuable experiences about data analysis practices and limitations regarding cross-border labour markets and daily commuting in a survey.
The survey is accessible by clicking on the link below. It is available in 13 languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Italian, Slovak, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Greek, Hungarian), you can select the language of your choice on the start page.
Deadline for filling in the survey is 31 August 2023. Depending on the level of involvement of your organisation in data collection, processing and analysis, completing the survey may require detailed information. You can however always interrupt the completion, save and resume later. Please do not hesitate to forward this request to any other organisation(s) you would deem relevant!
The project team thanks you for your answers to help build a pan-European knowledge base on cross-border labour market analysis! The ongoing results of the project are planned to be published on the Border Focal Point Platform.
