The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) and the Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT), on behalf of DG REGIO, are pleased to announce the launch of a new call for proposals to support the development of energy communities across borders. This call will run from 10 July to 21 November 2025.
Key Highlights of the Call for Proposals:
- Implementation of seven pilot actions to develop (quasi)- cross-border energy communities
- Funding of up to €15,000 per pilot
- Technical support provided by REScoop.eu, including workshops and webinars
We invite interested parties to attend an online information session to learn more about the initiative on Thursday 10 July from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST.
The information session aims to:
– Explain the (Q-)CBEC concept and the LICHT methodology used,
– Present the objectives and framework of the CBEC project,
– Describe the eligibility criteria and the application process,
– Give an overview of the type of technical support provided by REScoop.eu for the selected pilot projects,
– Include a Q&A session with the implementing partners (MOT, AEBR, REScoop.eu).
