We are pleased to welcome Jean Peyrony, Director General of the Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT), as a speaker at the 23rd edition of the “Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate”, taking place on 12 June 2025.
With extensive experience supporting local authorities on cross-border cooperation, Mr. Peyrony will offer a practical perspective on the BRIDGEforEU Regulation—a new initiative aimed at removing legal and administrative barriers at EU internal borders. MOT has been at the forefront of building cross-border solutions that respond to real territorial needs, making Mr. Peyrony’s insights especially relevant.
Before joining MOT, he held key roles at DG REGIO, DATAR (now ANCT), and in regional planning for the Paris region and La Réunion. His background spans EU policy design, Interreg programme management, and urban development. He is a graduate of École Polytechnique and the École des Ponts et Chaussées.
