What is Senior Eco-Nect about?

The Senior Eco-Nect project aims at a joint action plan to support the emergence and development of European ecosystems dedicated to the silver economy and active and healthy ageing, as well as ensuring inclusion and interconnectivity between all key players in innovation in the sector and cross-sectors.

 

The plan will be carried out in June 2024 and if selected, its implementation will begin.

 

What are the expected outcomes?

  • A joint action plan to support the Silver regions of Cork, Arras, Slovenia and Galicia. A live European registry of the most outstanding Silver projects and their monitoring.
  • A live European registry of the most outstanding Silver projects and their monitoring.

 

Who is it directed to?

To projects or services inSilver Economy in four main sectors: health, care, tourism and sport; throughout Europe, but mainly in the participating regions of Cork (south of Ireland), Arras (north of France), Slovenia and Galicia.

 

How to be part of the project?

  1. Become a #SEN follower and register to receive the project newsletter and keep up to date with all the news: activities, visits by project partners to the Galician ecosystem and much more.
  2. Register your Silver solution on the Senior Eco-Nect Silver Economy solutions map and position it to be one of those selected for the action plan.
  3. Submit your best practice case to be selected as the Galician best practice for the Senior Eco-Nect Best Practices Manual. You can submit more than one good practice per entity! (for Galician entities only)
