On 07 May 2024, the Enablers Board of the support service for Citizen-led renovation received the progress reports from the four pilot communities at its second meeting and exchanged on their specific challenges.

Ciarán Cuffe, MEP from Ireland and former Rapporteur of the 2024 EPBD recast, and Stefan Moser, Head of Unit DG ENER, were setting the scene.

The Enablers Board has an advisory role and helps to increase the outreach and relevance of the project and its outcomes. It brings together Members of the European Parliament, officials from national authorities, representatives from industry and civil society groups, and energy and buildings experts.

The Board will meet next time in person end of September 2024 in Brussels to provide input to the guidance and vision for Citizen-led renovation.
