This debate will spotlight the obstacles, opportunities, and best practices in facilitating access to healthcare services across borders. With public healthcare challenges not being confined by geopolitical boundaries, cross-border cooperation among health organizations has become crucial to improving the lives of border citizens. During emergencies and for everyday medical care, the nearest healthcare facility could be just across the border, presenting hurdles such as regulatory and administrative differences, language obstacles, and information access issues. This event aims at discussing these challenges and share good practices from local, regional, national, and EU perspectives to enhance access to cross-border healthcare access and services.
