SME Assembly

The SME Assembly is the most significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. It takes place once a year as part of European SME Week. Together with the network of SME envoys, the assembly creates the governance structure of the Small Business Act.

The SME Assembly 2025

The SME Assembly 2025, to be hosted in conjunction with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will take place from 10 to 12 November in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Assembly will spotlight standout companies Made in Europe—businesses defying the odds and succeeding globally. What can we learn from their journeys? We’ll explore that and more in our new Investment Forum, where entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers will come together to raise awareness of financing opportunities and fine-tune investment strategies tailored to every type of SME.

We’ll also introduce the new Internationalisation Forum, which will address the challenges of a volatile global trade environment and help current and aspiring exporters find their footing.

Throughout the Assembly, we’ll celebrate the best in European enterprise — from bold innovators and young visionaries just starting to underrepresented entrepreneurs unlocking untapped potential.

The Assembly is more than a discussion — it’s a launchpad for action. Together, we’ll chart a path to a more competitive, resilient Europe, with SMEs at its heart.

The event will take place both in person and online. Stay tuned for more updates!
