The Future of Life Institute (FLI) is a nonprofit that works on the benefits and risks from AI on both sides of the Atlantic.
In the United States, we work with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) to strengthen the AI Risk Management Framework. In the EU, we provide our input and perspectives on the AI Act. We also inform the general public about the Act through Artificialintelligenceact.eu and through our biweekly newsletter.
Our research team has recently developed a paper (attached) on lessons that the EU can learn from the NIST Risk Management Framework. We would be happy to present this for discussion at a future meeting of the working group.
