Data Science & Law Forum 3.0

-

Since 2018, the Data Science & Law Forum has provided a space for collective reflection and learning on developing principles for responsible AI. In 2021, the discussions move to the operationalization of AI – artificial intelligence in practice – and the necessary adoption of rules that guardrail AI systems.

The 3rd edition of the Data Science & Law Forum will advance discussions around developing robust and trustworthy AI and convene experts from the research community, civil society, policymaking, and legal practice.

This year’s Data Science & Law Forum 3.0 is being held virtually, and will start with regional chapters taking place from 13 to 21 April. The chapters will include an Envision Workshop (short version), a policy panel on challenges and opportunities of operationalizing AI, and inside-out learning keynotes that will provide you with practical insights into responsible AI governance.

We invite you to travel with us across Europe and listen in to all inside-out speaker sessions, to learn more about all aspects of responsible AI governance!

Our European journey will bring us back to Brussels on 26 April for a full plenary week.

The plenary week will include policy panels on regulating AI, accountability mechanisms and Transatlantic cooperation. Forward-leaning fire-side chats and BookTalks will foster discussions on the choices we need to make today for a human-centric AI future of tomorrow.
