An upcoming Data hub for EU border regions will support decision makers in addressing these challenges, providing the necessary knowledge on domains such as transport, public services, healthcare, cross-border governance, and more. This new, interactive platform will collect harmonised geospatial data on cross-border interactions and robust socioeconomic indicators, boosting the untapped socioeconomic potential of these territories.

The Data hub is an initiative of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and Joint Research Centre (JRC) in the context of the project 'data and Analyses for CROSS-border regions' (ACROSS).
