Public consultations on the future of cross-border cooperation

​​The European Committee of the Regions, in cooperation with the European Cross-Border Citizens' Alliance members, has launched public consultations on the Future of Cross-Border Cooperation.

The results will serve as a basis for the Resolution on the Future of Cross-Border Cooperation until 2050, which will contribute to the Conference on the Future of Europe . 

The resolution will outline concrete objectives that should be implemented by 2050 in order to remove any obstacle to cross-border cooperation to improve the lives of the European citizens living in border areas.

The consultations will remain open until 14 March 2021.
