As the EU Urban Agenda brings Europe’s cities to the negotiation table in a bid to overcome urban challenges, we undertake a twofold exercise. In a new cooperation model, Member States, cities and the EU work together to deliver better results on EU level for cities in a very practical and concrete way. The added value could be a new governance model which brings all these levels closer together in order to make the EU and its citi(ze)ns true partners on equal level.
