On 19 June, the first local training academy was held in Glasgow to discuss climate change adaptation and local government’s role in strengthening resilience to climate related risks at the local level. The training academy is part of the implementation of actions resulting from the Climate Adaptation Partnership. The action aims to provide specific training to local politicians on the benefits of climate change adaptation and how to deal with adaptation in a city.
