On 21 September 2023 (09:00 – 17:30 CEST), BEREC will hold a virtual Workshop on international submarine connectivity in the European Union.

In this workshop different stakeholders will share their views on the current state of play of the international submarine connectivity business in the European Union, with a focus on the dynamics following the entry of new actors, the challenges faced in the installation and operation of submarine cables (including those related to cable resiliency, security and sustainability), the expectations regarding the evolution of the European and national regulatory framework, institutional organisation and public policies in this area. The workshop is co-organised by the BEREC Regulatory Framework and Digital Markets Working Groups.

Participants are welcome to register to the workshop by completing the online registration by 19 September 2023.
