Share your knowledge on cross-border public transport!

ESPON good practice examples show that in some cases it may take multiple years to develop cross-border public transport, e.g. the tram between Strasbourg and Kehl (https://www.espon.eu/sites/default/files/attachments/ESPON%20CPS%2005%20Scientific%20Report%20Annex%20II%20Good%20practices.pdf).

Help us identifying key obstacles for cross-border public transport and contribute to defining ways to ease processes that help these services to flourish. Please share your experiences with cross-border obstacles for public transport until 23 February: https://www.research.net/r/CBPT_EN. The survey is available in most EU languages.

The map shows the location of cross-border public transport services at EU borders. It differentiates by modes of services, namely trains, buses, cable car, tram and ferry. It also shows where cross-border ticketing and tarrif services for public transport have been in place in 2018.
