Breakfast Debate #14 (9 November 2023): Border regions in post-2027 Cohesion policy

On Thursday, 9 November 2023, the Border Focal Point Network organised the 14th episode of the 'Beyond Borders' Breakfast Debates series. 

Titled “Border regions in post-2027 Cohesion policy”, the event focused on cohesion policy and its effect on cross-border regions. The European Union’s Cohesion Policy is a central element of the EU budget, designed to diminish disparities among its countries and regions through focused financial support. However, despite these efforts, EU border regions still encounter significant challenges due to the barriers imposed by national borders, which hamper their economic growth and development.
