Denmark - 9 Recommendations on data ethics

The Danish Expert Group on Data Ethics has presented nine recommendations to foster a responsible use of data in the business sector.

Among the recommendations:

- a “Dynamic Toolbox” with instructions on the incorporation of ethics; and

- a “Data Ethics Council” to support the responsible use of data by the business sector.

According to the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs “The recommendations will help create increased awareness and transparency about data ethics in the population and create an incentive for business to take responsibility and see the business potential in the responsible use of data”.
