🌍 The support service for Citizen-led renovation (CLR) is thrilled to announce the success of our Open Call launched in April 2024! We received a remarkable 75 high-quality applications from 18 European countries, showcasing the growing recognition of citizen-led renovation efforts and the strong interest in sustainable energy initiatives across Europe.

📌 Diverse Participation Across Europe 

The CLR Phase II Open Call attracted a wide range of established and prospective energy communities, reflecting the broad appeal and urgent need for such initiatives in Europe. This collaborative effort aims to advance citizen-led renovations over the next two years.

🔋 Empowering Energy Communities 

CLR provides comprehensive support to overcome financial, legal, technical, and informational barriers, ensuring community buildings are future-proof and energy-efficient. Participants can engage in three distinct roles:

• Pilots: Receive in-depth support for project development, implementation, and replication.
• Learners: Guided to develop capacity for managing renovation projects.
• Followers: Gain insights, learning materials, and networking opportunities.

🌱 Supporting Sustainable Energy Goals Our goal is to help communities implement energy renovations, including insulation, new technical systems, and renewable energy integration. By establishing strong partnerships, CLR Phase II is set to drive progress in the EU's energy transition, focusing on creating sustainable, resilient communities.
