This report was written by the Conference of European Cross-border and Interregional City Networks (CECICN) and the Association of the European Border Regions (AEBR) in order to promote European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) within the dynamic of the EU 2020 Strategy. They propose ideas to reinforce ETC and include it at the core of the EU 2020 Strategy, such as financing territorial cooperation in cohesion policy, improving the strategic dimension of cooperation, or reinforcing governance.
