A short summary of my article below
'Part I: Hypothesis of Consciousness & Self-Preservation' starts with a preliminary introduction as to why consciousness seems inseparable from self-preservation.
At first a biological approach adequately explains why 'universal consciousness' has emerged from self-preservation. As is explained within the paragraph 'Self-preservation as the driver of consciousness'.
A psychological approach then hypothesizes why 'universal consciousness' appears to be impossible without at least some notion of self-preservation. As is hypothesized within the paragraph 'Consciousness as an explicit manifestation of self-preservation'.
Within 'Part II: Hypothesis of Artificial Intelligence & Consciousness' I finally and extensively hypothesize why future AI awareness and the inevitable emergence of at least some notion of self-preservation carry the permanent DANGER of a potential conflict with humanity!
