State of play of the Partnership on Sustainable Use of Land and Nature-based Solutions

The Urban Agenda for the EU Partnership dealing with sustainable land-use and nature-based solutions (SUL-NBS) looks back on an eventful year 2018. 

The highlight was certainly the endorsement of the Partnership's Action Plan at the meeting of the Directors-General on Urban Matters (DGUM) in Vienna in November 2018. The document proposes nine concrete Actions fostering the ultimate aim of compact yet liveable cities and promoting the uptake of nature-based solutions. Read the final Action Plan here.

2019 will be the year of implementation, and the Partnership loses no time kicking it off: the next Partnership meeting is scheduled for 17-18 January 2019 in Bologna. Stay tuned for more information on this website and on Twitter @EUUrbanAgenda.
