How to avoid colour loss with uploaded JPEG images?

When you upload a JPEG image that has been saved in a CMYK colour profile, the final rendering may show colour loss compared to your original.

To avoid this, make sure to upload JPEG images saved/exported in an RGB colour profile.

 
On the left the saved RGB image, corresponding to the original colours. On the right the CMYK image loses most of the colours.
