The latest issue in the "Stories of European Cooperation" series by Interact, titled "EU Values 2025", focuses on successful examples of cross-border cooperation. It features six stories about projects and initiatives that have strengthened collaboration across borders, addressing key topics such as governance, the labour market and youth employability, transport, mobility, and accessibility. The publication highlights how these cross-border cooperation projects contribute to fundamental EU values such as the rule of law, freedom, and human rights.
This publication comes as Interreg celebrates 35 years of territorial cooperation and at a pivotal moment: the planning phase for post-2027 Interreg programmes, which invites reflection on both the past and future of cooperation. These themes were also at the heart of the "Interreg GO!" event held in March 2025 in Gorizia–Nova Gorica.
