The 3rd meeting of the Partnership on Circular Economy took place on 6-7 June in Helsinki

On 6-7 June 2017, the 3rd meeting of the Circular Economy Partnership was held in Helsinki. It was combined with the World Circular Economy Forum, organised by Sitra, where circular economy solutions from around the world were presented.

The aim of the Partnership meeting was to present progress made on topics already presented in the 2nd meeting of the Partnership (circular public procurement, eco-design, industrial symbiosis and innovative business models, governance) and discuss two new topics: waste prevention and collaborative economy. It was agreed to continue working on all of the above mentioned topics. 

The next meeting of the Partnership will take place on 20-21 September in The Hague. The focus of the upcoming meeting will be on following topics: water, urban resources, bio resources, as well as buildings. Moreover, the themes discussed during the 3rd meeting of the Partnership will be further elaborated.
