Since 2006, the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) have celebrated the people and projects driving enterprise and innovation across Europe. Over the years, more than 6,000 initiatives have taken part, helping to create thousands of new businesses and inspiring many more across regions, sectors, and communities.
Beyond recognition, EEPA has offered participants something lasting: credibility, connections, and a platform to share ideas. For many, the value lay not only in winning, but in the journey itself, reflecting on their work, exchanging practices, and contributing to a wider European conversation on how to support entrepreneurship.
The 2025 EEPA Compendium: A Lasting Record
The 2025 European Enterprise Promotion Awards were unveiled at the SME Assembly in Copenhagen, Europe’s flagship event for SMEs, organised by the European Commission with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
This final edition recognised 18 initiatives across six categories, highlighting diverse approaches to promoting enterprise in Europe, from skills and business environment reforms to digitalisation, sustainability, internationalisation, and inclusive entrepreneurship
