At the 31st of August 2018 the first meeting of the steering group of the pilot project took place at the EGTC Eurodistrict PAMINA in Lauterbourg. Together with representatives of all INFOBEST offices of the Upper Rhine (INFOBEST network), the next steps have been discussed and initial tasks distributed - including the systematization of the various problems in the area of administrative cooperation between health insurance companies and lobbying activities.

There was also good news to announce: Dr. Thomas Gebhart, Member of the Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Health, has accepted the patronage of the project.
