We’re conducting academic research to explore how AI practitioners perceive and apply AI ethics guidelines in their work. Your insights are essential for understanding diverse perspectives, particularly from regions like Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America.
We invite you to take part in a short survey (5–10 minutes) to share your experiences and views. Your input will contribute to a global understanding of AI ethics in practice.

Welcome to the survey on 'Ethics Guidelines for AI', organized by Lode Lauwaert from KU Leuven (lode.lauwaert-at-kuleuven.be), Marc Steen from TNO, Teresa Scantamburlo from Ca’ Foscari University, and Risto Uuk from Future of Life Institute and KU Leuven. This survey is distributed anonymously. By filling it in, you give consent to your responses being collected and stored anonymously, according to TNO's privacy statement.
Invitation: We kindly invite you to fill in this survey. It should take 5-10 minutes.
Objective: Various AI ethics guidelines are available to help people to integrate ethical aspects into the design, development, application, and usage of AI systems. We want to improve our understanding of which guidelines people know and use, and how people experience and evaluate these guidelines.
Participants: The survey targets people involved in the design, development, application or usage of AI systems. It consists of four short sections: knowledge, usage, evaluation, and background.
Results: If you would like to receive the survey's results, please leave your email at the end. These email addresses are stored in a separate database.
